Alza Acting Studio · Alza 44films Ltd.

Terms, Conditions
& Liability Waiver

By completing registration and payment, the Participant acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all classes and associated activities provided by Alza Acting Studio and/or Alza 44films Ltd. (collectively, "AAS").
Studio Rules & Policies
  1. All students must arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled class start time.
  2. No food or drink is permitted in the studio except for bottled water.
  3. Wet footwear is not permitted in the studio. Please bring an extra pair of dry shoes to change into.
  4. AAS will provide digital copies of sides (scripts) in advance of class. Hard copies are not provided. The Participant is expected to bring their own printed sides and have a pen and paper for notes.
  5. The Participant is prohibited from recording classes, other participants, and/or instructors. AAS will record takes of the Participant's assigned scenes, which may be available for purchase. Please inquire with AAS for details.
  6. All recording devices — cellphones, iPads, tablets, smartwatches, or any other electronic device — are not allowed in the working area of the studio where classes are held.
Accessibility & Participation Requirements
  1. AAS programs are interactive, partner-based acting classes conducted in English. Success and classroom safety require participants to actively engage in scene work, follow instructor direction in real time, communicate clearly with scene partners, and allow all participants an equal opportunity to learn in a non-disruptive environment.
  2. If the Participant requires an accommodation to participate in these core activities, please contact AAS administration prior to the first class to evaluate reasonable accommodations and support options.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
  1. Student-Initiated Cancellations (More than 2 Weeks): If registration is cancelled by the Participant more than 2 weeks before the class start date, the Participant is entitled to a 50% refund of registration fees.
  2. Student-Initiated Cancellations (Within 2 Weeks): No refund will be provided for student-initiated cancellations within 2 weeks of the class start date or after classes have commenced.
  3. Absences: The Participant may not reschedule classes or attend make-up classes if absent. Failure to attend class for any reason results in forfeiture of that class — no exceptions.
  4. Instructor Availability: If an instructor becomes unavailable, AAS will reschedule the class and/or assign another professional instructor from the AAS team.
  5. Inclement Weather & Storm Cancellations: AAS reserves the right to cancel classes due to severe weather or severe storms. Classes are officially cancelled only if an official email notification is sent by AAS to participants. If no email notification is sent, classes will proceed as scheduled regardless of weather conditions. If AAS cancels a class due to weather, a makeup class will be scheduled on a date determined at the Studio's discretion. No refunds, credits, or individual makeup sessions will be issued if a participant is unable to attend the rescheduled makeup date.
  6. Studio-Initiated Discontinuation: As an exception to standard student cancellation rules, AAS reserves the right to discontinue or transition a Participant's enrollment if accommodation needs exceed what can reasonably be provided in a group setting, or if persistent disruption affects safety or class progression.
  7. Studio-Initiated Refund Standard: If enrollment is discontinued by AAS under item 6 above, the standard non-refundable policy does not apply. Instead, the Participant will receive, at AAS discretion, either a prorated refund for remaining unattended classes or a tuition credit/transfer toward private 1-on-1 coaching or an alternative program.

I declare that I have reviewed the above information and agree to comply with all terms and conditions. I acknowledge that failure to comply may result in expulsion from AAS classes. Agreement to these terms is required before attending any class.
