Where Training
Meets the Industry

The Sunday Intermediate Class is where the training meets the industry. We move beyond basics and deeper into scene study, the high-level nuances of Character Development and Biomechanics for Camera. This is where you learn to manage your physical presence and emotional depth simultaneously, ensuring every choice you make translates perfectly to the lens.

The Alza Method — Intermediate Track

Guided by our Award-Winning Faculty and mentored by Walter Alza (120+ credits), this lab focuses on the Director-Actor relationship. Learn to take complex direction under pressure and deliver bold, grounded performances that make casting directors remember you.

What else do I learn?
The CameraUnderstanding shot sizes. Movement for the lens. Reviewing work on screen.
The CraftBreaking down scripts. Working on Beats. Character development.
The MindsetBuilding self-confidence. Learning to take risks. Staying positive & focused.

Intermediate Scene Study

Deep-dive into complex script analysis. All work is filmed and reviewed on a large screen to refine your close-up precision and emotional control.

Biomechanics & The Lens

Master your physical instrument. Learn how to move for the lens without losing the truth of the moment, focusing on posture, stillness, and eyelines.

Character Evolution

Go beyond the lines. We focus on building layered, multi-dimensional characters that feel real and spontaneous in every take.

Professional Adaptability

Prepare for the realities of a working set. Learn to adjust your performance quickly, stay focused in the chaos, and handle callbacks with confidence.
