The Saturday Next Level Class is designed for actors moving from theory to professional execution. Guided by award-winning filmmaker Walter Alza, this track focuses on the technical precision required for modern film sets. We bridge the gap between "acting" and "working," ensuring your choices are bold, grounded, and camera-ready.
Our foundation integrates the legendary tools of Stanislavski, Meisner, Adler, Mamet and Strasberg, with Walter Alza's 30+ years of on-set experience (120+ credits). This is where you learn to adapt your craft for the lens.
More Than Just a Class — A Studio Home. Your journey begins with a focused 4-week intensive. Upon completion, successful actors are invited to join our Intermediate and Advanced tracks, becoming part of the permanent Alza Acting Studio community.
On-Camera Scene Study
All work is filmed and reviewed on a large screen. Master shot sizes, movement for the lens, and close-up precision.
Script & Beats Analysis
Break down scripts like a working pro. Learn to identify beats and make bold character choices that pop on screen.
Director Communication
Learn the language of the set. How to take direction quickly, adjust under pressure, and be the actor directors want to hire.
Audition Readiness
What casting looks for in callbacks. We build the confidence and adaptability needed to stay focused and take risks.
