Focusing primarily on scene study, our coaches will reveal a specific method of acting for the camera tailored by Walter Alza ( Co Star of Get Rich or Die Tryn’, Flashpoint, Metropia 90 episodes). In this classes you will also work on some elements from the techniques of great acting teachers that have shaped the lives of actors like Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Meryl Streep, etc. This class focuses not only on scene study and character development, but also on the craft by guiding you to explore yourself more and get to your core. You will be working on camera scene study in our studio which it mirrors working on set with multiple time award-winning actors and directors who are ready and willing to give their passion, skill and talent, to take you to the next level and help building your confidence with a new set of skills. You will also work on cold reads with 10 time award winning director Dean Bajramovic, with a powerful way of doing cold reads created by the founder of Alza Acting Studio award winning actor filmmaker Walter Alza (Get Rich or Die Tryn’, Flashpoint, Metropia).
In this classes you will be introduce to the secret Alza sauce that many try to teach and do it wrong and hey, they charge you double for it 😉
This acting class is ideal for actors that have had prior substantial acting training and or working experience in television, film, and theatre. Ideal for actors that have made a decision to become crafted working actors. Actors that need to develop their instrument.
Let me explain the difference, most people think can act as long as they memorize lines or imitate sounds, much like parrots, I know it’s funny, right? But many people think acting is just that. (Parrot sound). Acting its easy but not simple. A crafted actor is an actor who strives to be memorable and remain performing for a long time. A crafted Tv & film actor means that you are like a doctor, you know your work, simply put.
