You will gain expertise in scene study within the framework of the director/actor relationship. Directors and actors communicate differently, and understanding the director’s vision is crucial to achieving success on set. This class will explore the distinct energies, languages, and requirements of both roles, providing you with the tools to adapt and excel in any situation.
The course is tailored by studio founder and multiple award-winning actor Walter Alza, celebrated for his roles in Get Rich or Die Tryin’, Flashpoint, and Metropia. With over 120 episodes of television and film to his credit, Walter incorporates techniques from the Stanislavsky System, Michael Chekhov’s Biomechanics, Stella Adler’s Acting Techniques, and methods from Meisner and Mamet.
